Kozachy Island Park

This green island is located in the center of our city, which makes it a unique place for recreation. Previously, it was called O. Pushkin Park. It was built on the left bank of the Ingul at the beginning of the 20th century. This green oasis seems to have been created for relaxing with family and friends. At the end of the 19th century, the area was part of the so-called summer estate of wealthy townspeople. Therefore, the remains of ancient trees – oaks, linden, lilac, jasmine – have been preserved here.
